PRIOR DOCUMENTS
The following documents were prepared by the City prior to the start of the Reboot Reidsville project:
The City’s current Zoning Ordinance includes the current development regulations in effect in Reidsville and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
The City’s current Subdivision Regulations includes the current rules controlling the division of land in effect in Reidsville and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
The City’s current Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance includes the current rules for land and development located within and approximate to the floodplain.
The Blueway & Greenway Plan was adopted by the City in 2019 and it sets out a strategy for construction and extension of trails and greenways throughout the City’s planning jurisdiction.
The Land Development Plan is the City’s Land Development Plan adopted in 2022. It describes the community’s desire for its future growth and development through a series of six key goals, a future land use map, and an implementation plan.
The RFP is the document prepared by the City describing its goals and objectives for the UDO preparation process.
The CodeWright response is the document prepared by the consulting team in response to the City’s RFP. It details the project understanding, proposed scope of work, schedule, and budget.
PROJECT INITIATION
The Project Initiation Task is the first of the six project tasks. It includes the initial meetings with City officials, document review, and interviews with City-identified project stakeholders.
